Stacy Schaefer

Director of Development and Philanthropy

Originally from Canada, Stacy grew up on the beaches of Carlsbad, California. From an early age, Stacy found her passion and commitment to living a life of purpose and making a difference for both people and the planet.

As a mission-driven director with relationship and revenue-building expertise, her strategy is to expand impact and footprint. Over ten years of specialization in education, developing and maintaining relationships and businesses in the Public and Private sectors throughout the Western United States.

International experience in the USA and Australia is complemented by a Master of Arts, Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego (graduation – May 2024), a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from San Diego State University, a Diploma in Education from the University of New South Wales, ISO Quality Methodology Accreditation, and over five years of professional experience as a Qualified Teacher.

In Stacy’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga, experiencing travel and different cultures, focusing on the planet and others, and enjoying all things music and anything that includes water.

Stacy leads the Development team as the Director of Development and Philanthropy to strategically increase the impact and growth of ECOLIFE Conservation’s mission of helping humans and nature prosper together.
