Chief Executive Officer(CEO)
Connor Leone joined ECOLIFE Conservation in 2014 as a volunteer, motivated by a desire to make a meaningful impact. From supporting fundraising events to harvesting produce at the Aquaponics Innovation Center, he quickly became immersed in the organization’s mission and saw firsthand the difference it was making in communities and ecosystems.
In 2015, Connor became ECOLIFE’s Aquaponics Education Coordinator, leading environmental education programs that introduced students and teachers to sustainable food systems. He managed classroom-based aquaponics initiatives and habitat restoration projects, helping more than 500 classrooms connect STEM learning with real-world conservation.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Connor was promoted to Sustainable Agriculture Program Director, where he focused on expanding partnerships, scaling programs, and securing critical funding. His leadership helped grow ECOLIFE’s reach and strengthened its role as a provider of innovative, community-driven solutions to food insecurity and environmental degradation.
Appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2025, Connor brings a full-circle perspective to his leadership—grounded in hands-on experience and a deep belief in collective impact. He is committed to expanding ECOLIFE’s influence, improving program outcomes, and cultivating a strong network of partners, donors, and community leaders.
Connor leads with the conviction that every person has the ability to improve the world around them. His vision for ECOLIFE centers on innovation, empathy, and action—ensuring a future where people and the planet thrive together.
