The California Condor Recovery Lecture

  • This event has passed.

When the California Condor Recovery Program was launched in the 1980’s, there were fewer than 25 left in the world.  They were functionally extinct until a small team of innovative scientists made history. This is their story.

Bill Toone, Founder of ECOLIFE Conservation, is lecturing as part of the California Center for the Arts’ upcoming exhibit, “Endangered: Exploring California’s Changing Ecosystems.” Bill will be presenting his famous lecture on saving the California Condor, as well as a brand new lecture on the effects of resource use worldwide and here in California. Come meet one of the greatest minds in modern conservation and get involved with the ECOLIFE community!
