Smoke from open-fire stoves fills homes, coats walls and pots with soot, and leaves invisible marks on the lungs of women and girls who cook every day.
At ECOLIFE Conservation Mexico, through the Tsasú Project, we bring a solution that honors tradition without sacrificing health: the Patsari stove.
These stoves continue to use wood, just as families have for generations, but with efficiency that reduces indoor smoke and eases pressure on natural resources.
This #GivingTuesday, we’re launching the #BrickByBrick campaign to build 1,400 Patsari stoves, one for each family that deserves to cook safely and breathe clean air.
Our goal: 56,000 bricks = $336,000 MXN ($21,000 USD), to transform 1,400 lives—one brick at a time.
